Glendale Raptors Sign Canadian International Noah Barker for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old prop is 6’0″ and 255 lbs.

Noah was born in Germany and grew up in Courtenay, British Columbia. He attended G.P. Vanier Towhees of Courtenay, graduating in 2012.

He played for the Canadian Under-20s in 2012 when they defeated University of St. Andrews 118-0 and in the IRB Junior World Trophy.

Noah made his debut for Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team against Argentina XV in the Americas Rugby Championship in 2018. He received his first cap against Chile, with the last of his 4 caps against the United States in Nova Scotia this past June.

He played for Canada Selects in the 2018 Americas Pacific Challenge and then against Castres in France prior to the November Internationals.

Noah has also played representative rugby with the BC Bears in the Canadian Rugby Championship and club rugby with James Bay Athletic Association.

He now joins the Glendale Raptors for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The Raptors, like a number of MLR teams, will lose players during the 2019 Americas Rugby Championship. Noah is one of them as Canada announced his inclusion for the South American legs against Uruguay and Brazil.
